Washington, DC — Mongolian Cabinet Minister Saikhanbileg Chimed will discuss a new government effort called Invest Mongolia at a National Press Club Newsmakers news conference on Monday, December 9.

In 2011, Mongolia had record economic growth of 17%, with a majority of its wealth untapped in mining resources. In October, Mongolia’s parliament approved an investment law that ended different rules for domestic and foreign private investors. This new Mongolian Investment Legislation provides investors with political and legal stability and proactively provides additional investment incentives that could further improve sentiment towards Mongolian related investments.
