Ambassador Batbayar had an introductory meeting with Mr. Edgar Kagan, the Senior Director for East Asia at the White House NSC on December 20, 2021. During the meeting, the two sides exchange views on ways to strengthen the Mongolia-US strategic partnership, expand the economic cooperation, and jointly and widely commemorate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the U.S. that falls in 2022. Moreover, the sides discussed the latest pandemic situation in both countries.
