Embassy of Mongolia in the United States of America commemorates Mongolian Armed Forces Day
The Embassy of Mongolia in the United States hosted a reception to commemorate the 104th anniversary of the Mongolian Armed Forces Day in Washington D.C., on March 18, 2025.
Ambassador Batbayar Ulziidelger welcomed honored guests and distinguished members of the Defense Attaché Corps in the United States.
In his remarks, Ambassador Batbayar highlighted the pivotal role of the Mongolian Armed Forces in advancing Mongolia’s foreign policy objectives. Since joining international peacekeeping operations in 2002, over 25,000 Mongolian Armed Forces service members have proudly served shoulder to shoulder with many other nations under the United Nations and other multinational missions around the world, demonstrating Mongolia’s steadfast commitment to global peace and security.
The Ambassador also expressed appreciation for the continued strengthening of Mongolia-U.S. defense bilateral cooperation, underscoring shared interests in promoting peace, security, and institutional capacity-building.
