Ambassador of Mongolia to the United States of America, Batbayar Ulziidelger met with Kevin Kim, Deputy Assistant Secretary for China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and Taiwan at the U.S. Department of State today to exchange views on bilateral relations and cooperation. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of further broadening political and economic cooperation under the framework of the Mongolia–United States Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The parties also welcomed the forthcoming launch of United Airlines flights on the Tokyo–Ulaanbaatar route beginning May 1, made possible through the Open Skies Agreement signed during Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene’s official visit to the United States in 2023.
