At its plenary meeting of 27 January 2021, the State Great Hural appointed Luvsannamsrain OYUN-ERDENEas the 32^nd Prime Minister of Mongolia, with 87.9 percent support.

Outgoing Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh handed over the seal of the Government of Mongolia to the 32^nd Prime Minister and wished them success in his future endeavors. U. Khurelsukh underscored that he did not doubt that, at this critical juncture, the new Prime Minister would spare no effort in righteously leading the country and upholding the national unity. The new Prime-Minister L.Oyun-Erdene noted that the Government will continue policies of the Government led by Mr.U.Khurelsukh, and complete the major development projects, including the oil refinery plant, and work for the development of Mongolia cognizant of the Prime Minister’s duties and responsibilities”.
