ADVISORY TO FOREIGN TRAVELERS
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Mongolia has extended suspension of all scheduled commercial flights and passenger rail into and out of Mongolia until June 30, 2020 and banned the entry of all foreign nationals for this period.
Please note that the Embassy has suspended all types of routine visa services until June 30, 2020. A traveler who holds a multiple entry visa to Mongolia, arriving from abroad via the expatriation flight is subject to mandatory quarantine for at least 21 days and self-quarantine for 14 days upon their arrival to Mongolia.
As of June 9, 2020, the number of new coronavirus infections reached 194 in Mongolia. All of them are imported cases, including 4 foreigners and 190 Mongolians flew from abroad. NO community spread cases, yet.
